Patrol

This pop-up piece is made of old magazine cut-outs and my own pictures of Tehran. I wanted to reconstruct core memories out of thin paper and translate their harshness through the innocent language of pop-up books. This is the city I remember: swelling walls, rancid figs, dying stray cats, trembling feet, and hunters.
