This installation is built from two concrete slabs with a hand-drawn animation projected in the space between them, and an illustration sitting where the two meet.
The slabs are heavy and fixed, a structure a body learns to move around, not through. The animation refuses to sit still. It never holds one frame long enough to rest.
I made this after years of folding myself into rooms that weren’t built to hold me.
